BIOGRAPHY: RAY HENRY

RAY HENRY
MURALIST - SCULPTOR -PHOTOGRAPHER


Ray Henry is a talented fine artist and photographer. He has an exceptional eye for detail and design. Not only is Ray a remarkable muralist and sculptor, he is also a noted art director. As well as being a fine computer graphics designer, Ray has designed, constructed sets, and built characters for children's television and industrial films. His work has been seen and enjoyed on numerous national TV series, home videos, corporate training videos and print media. With twenty years in the creativity field, Ray has worked on numerous projects with clients worldwide.

On the award winning series "Barney and Friends", Ray designed, constructed and performed numerous puppet characters. He also directed the art department's prop, craft and costume shops.

His background as a studio cameraman and lighting director, helped develop Ray's remarkable photographic eye. He has a passion for wildlife photography and is our studio's official photographer.

Ray was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1961. A graduate of North Texas State University, in Denton TX, he majored in Radio-TV-Film with a minor in Fine Arts. Ray began his career in corporate communications, with the Zales Corporation, working as a computer graphics designer and video production specialist.

A very involved father of two athletic, artistic and musically talented sons, Ray stays busy coaching soccer and basketball teams. In between all the family sports and music activities, Ray and his wife Noreen, love to travel the world.
