JESS
NELSON Jesse B. Nelson is a master muralist and sculptor.
He is also an accomplished designer who has garnered
many awards for work in children's television, feature films, and architectural
art projects. His photo-realistic mural paintings are placed in interior environments - museum dioramas, private homes and corporate halls. Jess' sculpts in cast stone, precious metals and other materials. Accomplished in most classic mediums, his palette also includes PC & web technologies, state-of- the-art materials, creative designs and fresh ideas. As a master craftsman, Jess pitches in and helps build what he has designed. His "hands on" and "art team" approach to project implementation wins him great respect with film crews and other artists. His keen business acumen establishes him as an apt design consultant in R & D and project design implementation. |

In the film an TV Industry, Jess receives notable attention for his production designs, models, sets, props and costume characters. His work is seen in feature films and on network and public television. His design work on the Emmy award winning "Barney and Friends" received special recognition. In corporate TV and business circles, Jess has contributed to works that have received American Film Institute Awards, U. S. Film and Video Festival Awards, Film Quasar Awards, Silver Anvil Awards, MAXI Awards and many other business trade awards. He also designed and built projects for major theme parks... Knott's Berry Farm in California, Wall Drug in South Dakota and Six Flags in Texas. He has won many awards for innovative trade show and exhibit designs. His paintings and sculptures are displayed in galleries and private collections around the world. Articles about Jess' artwork have been featured in Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, Fort Worth Star Telegram, Dallas Morning News, Cowboys and Indians, and other periodicals and trade journals. Jess and his wife, Carol, enjoy traveling, skiing, ice skating and, of course, visiting their son and daughter to romp and play with their six grandchildren. |
